A Window Between Worlds has developed I CAN WE CAN as an open invitation to the community at large to lend their hands, literally, to help end abuse. Now on display at Gallery Neuartig thanks to the dedication, open and collaborative spirit of Lead Artist Neda Moridpour, this project has engaged over 400 creative collaborators from Australia to Iran and throughout the United States.

Each I CAN pledge represents a seed being planted, a symbol of solidarity and commitment to do what each of us can to help end domestic violence and sexual assault. We hope you take the time to view these I CAN hands in our community gallery and see through each artist's vision the messages of hope, honesty, and conversation.

Please lend your hand and be a part of our online exhibit and join us during the month of April at the gallery. We intend this to be only the beginning and the first of many further Artist-in-Residencies offering a collective opportunity for survivors and non-survivors alike to take part in building a safe and visible community voice saying “no” to violence.
